This magnificent and precious fan watch is one of very few known of this type. Made in 18K gold and painted with enamel & a pearl and rose-cut diamond-set, the white ostrich feather fan watch has a concealed watch and a pencil, besides the erotica on the top cover,

The present example is one of a kind, signed by Czapek & Cie and made for presentation by Napoleon III (1808-1873), circa 1855. It is expected to sell for (US$100,000-150,000 or €80,000-120,000).
